UNDERSTANDING PITTA

Under are ruled by fire which brings transformation, heat, and clarity. Qualities associated with Pitta are hot, sharp, and penetrating. You are bold, dynamic, and fiery, perfectly marrying intellect with passion. You have a go-getter attitude and a love of perfection. You thrive on challenges and others describe you as driving, ambitious, and a natural leader. You are analytical and decisive. You have a powerful intellect and a strong ability to concentrate. 

Your body is medium-sized, athletic, and muscular. You have very symmetrical features, are of average weight, and have moist, oily skin with a tendency for moles, freckles or a reddish complexion. You are intolerant of heat and humidity. Because of that and how easily you start sweating, you enjoy the cold. Fall is likely your favorite season! You have a strong metabolism and when you don't eat you can become "hangry!"

SIMPLE WAYS TO BALANCE PITTA 

WHAT IS AN AYURVEDIC ARCHETYPE?

Each person has a unique combination of the five great elements - earth, water, fire, air, and space. These elements are combined to form the three primary Energetic Archetypes [aka doshas] of Vata [ether + air], Pitta [fire + water], and Kapha [water + earth]. These energies influence everything from our digestion, physical characteristics, and how we process thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

Everyone has all three energies in their mind and body however most people are dominated by one or two primarily. You may also have one dominant energy in your mind and another in your body.
